We’re Ecohouse Solar – a team of friendly, customer-focused people that pride ourselves in providing high quality, full-service solar installations exclusively in the Central Ohio area.

As a Solar Installer you will install residential and commercial PV systems, ranging from 5kW to 500kW.

Job duties:

  • On-site labor: Installation of racking, wiring, panels, inverters, and balance-of-system components

  • Pre-construction: Preparation of Ecohouse Solar’s truck with materials and tools for each job

  • Quality: Ensure installations are of high quality and consistent with industry standards

Minimum qualifications: 

  • Personal passion for renewable energy

  • Construction experience, including hand tools and power tools

  • Ability to lift in excess of 60 lbs., and to perform rigorous physical labor

  • Ability to climb ladders and to work at heights, including pitched roofs

  • Ability to work in confined spaces, such as attics and crawlspaces

  • Willingness to work in all weather

  • Must hold valid driver’s license

  • Self-motivated and eager to learn

  • Customer service oriented 

  • Commitment to teamwork and “can-do” attitude

Preferred experience:

  • Solar installation

  • Electrical construction

Education: 

  • Solar training strongly preferred

  • High School diploma or equivalent required

Salary Range

$41,920.00 - $62,880.00

*This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.

This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance.
