Job Title: Sr. Director, Digital Acquisition

Reports To:  Vice President, eCommerce

Position Classification: Exempt/Fulltime

Annual Salary Range: $150,000 - $175,000

Location: El Segundo, CA (Remote w/exception of designated days in-office)

General Summary:

Kind Guthy-Renker is  



  • 7+ years of experience in customer acquisition, with a focus on direct response marketing with expertise in selling beauty subscriptions
  • Experience in beauty, skin care or adjacent fields
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making and optimization
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful campaigns across multiple channels and platforms, driving significant customer growth and revenue
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with a passion for coaching and developing team members
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in marketing, business, or related field

 Environmental, Psychological and Physiological Requirements:

  • The work will be performed inside a multi-story office building with elevators and stairs.
  • The person must be able to remain in a stationary position for up to 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery and conference rooms.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a copy machine, printer and calculator
  • Frequently communicates with employees who have inquiries.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital acquisition strategy that aligns with the brand's mission and values, while maximizing ROI
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners, such as media agencies, creative agencies, and technology vendors, to deliver high-quality campaigns and achieve growth targets
  • Be primary liaison between channels and creative team, acting as the leading voice on the do’s/don’ts of digital creative, and linking Growth & Brand objectives
  • Partner with creative and design teams to shape the strategic & creative output of Growth channels, guiding growth creative campaigns from inception to production to design, and ensuring that content is backed by data and insights, levering best practices by channels
  • Manage and optimize direct response marketing campaigns across various channels and platforms, leveraging data-driven insights and best practices
  • Create, manage, and scale customer acquisition and retention campaigns across a diverse paid channel mix including Google/Youtube, Meta, Instagram, TikTok, Instagram, and various large advertising platforms, adjust campaigns as needed to maximize ROI and optimal customer acquisition costs.
  • Define track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for customer acquisition, including cost per acquisition (CPA), conversion rate, lifetime value (LTV), and churn rate, and provide regular reports to senior management
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify target audiences and optimize messaging, creative, and offers
  • Continuously monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to optimize results and drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with all areas of the business to bring new, innovative strategies to fruition that drive growth and revenue across all of our digital channels
  • Provide strategic recommendations and insights to senior management to inform decision-making and drive effective customer acquisition strategies
  • Stay proactive in seeking out opportunities for innovation and testing new marketing channels, tactics, and technologies to stay ahead of the competition
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve customer acquisition processes, tools, and methodologies, driving operational efficiencies and effectiveness
