Job Description

This position is for a Senior Software Developer in the SDS department.  The ideal candidate will work directly with clients to define application requirements and estimate the required level-of-effort.  He/she will also work individually or with a team to develop a software solution that meets the client’s requirements.  As part of a services organization, excellent communication and customer service are required.



As a Senior Software Developer, you will create impact by:

  • Translating requirements into robust implemented applications
  • Leading the design and planning process
  • Accurately estimating level-of-effort
  • Leading the development effort on projects
  • Producing required technical documentation
  • Contributing software, processes or practices to IMAGINiT intellectual property and the SDS group

Qualifications

Pre-sales

  • Significant involvement in pre-sales proposals and customer communications
  • Requirements Analysis
  • Working with project managers to estimate level-of-effort
  • Maintain a good understanding of relevant technologies and approaches to projects

 

Project Execution

  • Team leadership / product ownership
  • Develop quality code and deliverables, utilizing best practices and processes
  • Track time and expenses
  • Communicate with project managers and other stakeholders
  • Complete technical documentation

Compensation 

  • Year 1 Total Compensation (base salary + commissions) Range: $110,000 - $120,000
