Special Skill Requirements:
Required: Digital and Analog HW Design, Digital and Analog data processing, Electronic/Electrical system requirements write-up, Embedded controller programming,
Preferred: OS-based and web app development, Server deployment, PHP, MySQL, JSON, C-family languages, Java, Javascript, CAN communication, PHY and protocols for wireless communications (e.g. BlueTooth, WiFi, Cellular, DSRC).
Job Description:
Depending on the SYNTecrity project priority in 2016, a subset or all of the following deliverables will be required:
(1) In cooperation with a technology provider as needed, the intern will evaluate sensor-based technologies and will deploy them in the development of human factor-based applications that may entail creating specific algorithms or optimizing/expanding the scope of existing ones.
(2) The intern will be in charge of writing up electronic/electrical system requirements,
(3) She/he will be called upon to join a team for integrating (installing, interfacing, programming/debugging/tuning) embedded controllers/modules on demonstration vehicles.
