Job Purpose and Impact

 


The Underground Maintenance Supervisor will supervise the management and control of maintenance, repair and operations warehouse materials within the organization. In this role, you will oversee a team that executes tactical activities to meet the area strategies.


Key Accountabilities

 



  • Plan and prioritize material and obsolescence management as well as maintain condition strategies to provide operational effectiveness.

  • Execute storeroom processes associated with receiving, inventory and dispatching for both internal and external locations.

  • Collaborate with production employees, contractors, and vendors adherence related to maintenance repair and operations stores activities.

  • Ensure all maintenance repair and operations materials are in optimum conditions.

  • Improve collaborations with maintenance processes for smooth work management integration.

  • Provide feedback on process and continuous improvement activities.

  • Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports. You will also spend time completing the same tasks as employees on your team.

  • Other duties as assigned. 


Position Information.

 



  • This position is posted internally as well as externally. 

  • Relocation assistance will be provided for this position.

  • This position is located in Cleveland, Ohio. 

  • The work schedule is: Monday – Friday Typically from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM. There are also some events that might need to work on the weekends and on call. 


Qualifications

 


Minimum Qualifications


 



  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR equivalent experience.

  • Hold ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives) certification OR the ability to obtain ATF certification upon hire.

  • Minimum three years of mining or related work experience.


 


Preferred Qualifications


 



  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge, training or certification.

  • Knowledge of safety principles and methodologies.

  • Operations planning, safety and quality ownership. 

  • One year of supervisory experience. 

  • Knowledge or experience with SAP system.
