The selected candidate should expect to hit the road daily traveling about 75% of the time throughout Ohio, but could extend to surrounding states, based on project requirements.Per diem and mileage based on travel requirements.
What you will be doing:
The Title Agent role is a training level role that will shadow experienced Title Agents and other members of the project team to learn how to research public records, both in courthouses and online, to accurately identify ownership of properties prior to land acquisitions. Will compile information into detailed reports and ensure compliance. The intent of this position is to progress through the training program and develop into an independent/ experienced agent able to work on a variety of projects, as they are available, that will beresponsible for searching real estate records, pulling deeds, mortgages, contracts, easements, tax cards, plats, and other instruments required to complete a title search. Lastly, will compile information into a client provided Title Report while ensuring accuracy of title information.

Here are the minimum requirements:
Minimum of 2years of experience in a position or field, such as:
Analysts, librarian, journalist, copy editor, research assistant, mortgage, banking or another related field comfortable researching and verifying information
Experience using a variety of media in order to research and complete title work
Must be proficient with MS Office Suite specifically Excel and Word, Dropbox or equivalent
Must have an iOS or Android smartphone to be able to access ORC's systems
English language proficient
Valid Driver's License
