Description
We are seeking a **Warehouse Associate / Rigger** for our Houston, TX location. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various warehouse duties (ie, shipping, order selecting & receiving), preparing rental equipment and rigging equipment. Don't worry if you have limited experience. We're willing to train someone who has a great attitude, willing to learn and is willing & able to perform the physical funtions of the role.

**Work Schedule:** Mon-Fri, 7am to 3:30pm (OT based on business needs)
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**
This role is expected to:
+ Performs general warehousing tasks such as the receiving and storing of parts and material as well as packaging and shipping parts and material and maintains related records.
+ Drive forklift to move inventory and materials across the facility.
+ Prepares orders by processing request and supply orders; pulling materials, packing boxes, placing orders, and inspect return equipment.
+ Sort and place parts, materials or equipment on racks, shelves, or in bins, and store inventory in the proper location according to Spider standards.
+ Performs daily general housekeeping and janitorial tasks to keep warehouse clean and orderly.
+ Ensure Spider equipment is loaded with necessary equipment & supplies to complete the job.
+ May perform rigging and de-rigging services in accordance with Spider and Scaffold Industry Association (SIA) safety guidelines.
+ Follows company procedures to ensure that all work-related records are accurate, updated in a timely manner, and conform to company standards.
+ Observes safe working practices, safety rules and regulations by adhering to correct use of safety equipment, correct safe rigging procedures, correct operating methods, required safety checks and emergency recovery procedures.
+ Perform other related tasks as assigned.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
To perform the job successfully, an individual should be able to utilize the following skills:
Ability to work in elevated construction areas without fear of heights.
Organize, attention to detail, inventory control skills and teamwork.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Safety first attitude, positive and self-motivated.
Prior experience with Forklift a plus (willing to train)
Rigging experience a plus (willing to train).
**PHYSICAL DEMANDS:**
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This position requires that an employee be able to stand, walk, and lift to 50lbs. for 2/3 or more of their shift. Rigger/ Warehouse frequently, reach, stretch, climb, crouch, push or pull large objects, grasp, and carry heavy objects, and sit. Finally, the job may require a minimal amount of crawling.

Rigger/Warehouse work in varying environments. They may work indoors, outdoors, or both on any given day. Dirt, dust, loud noises, fumes, odors, chemicals, injury exposure and poor visibility are often encountered. Job site hazards can include any of the following: elevated workplace (up to 100 stories above the ground), mechanical hazards, fire hazards, and radiation. Also, depending on factors including geographical location, season, and/or weather, Rigger/Warehouse may be required to operate in extreme heat, extreme cold, or high humidity. Measures are taken to make each job site a safe working environment.
