Leaders in Energy is looking for a Venue Coordinator (volunteer) to help support our events. The expected volunteer time is approximately 6 to 8 hours a month.
The focus of this volunteer position is to help our organization find suitable locations for our monthly meetings. This key role gives the volunteer significant visibility within the organization, fostering rapport in our green tech community.
Expected Time Commitment: 6 - 8 hours per month
Venue Coordinator Duties:
- Source out 15-20 DMV area venues for events (green friendly/new-green economy)
- Periodic (every few months) verification of venue availability
