Supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process. Provides administrative, tactical and execution support in various aspects of the industry standard supply chain business process areas primarily Supply Chain Planning and Supply Chain Sourcing, as well as Supply Chain Business Operations.
+ Support Science, Environmental & Weather (S&EW) programs for various Government and Commercial customers to procure material with costs totaling upward of $100-$200K
+ Interact with Supply Chain Manager, Division Material Manager (DMM), Program Planner, Buyers, etc
+ Report to DMM and the Lead Program Planners working the multiple programs
+ Works under direct general supervision and instructions given for routine work and detailed instructions given for new activities and special assignments
+ Perform tasks assigned by Lead Program Planners to purchase and track receipt of electronic piece parts (e.g. Resistors, Capacitors), subcontracted components (e.g. Reaction Wheels), and components built by other Northrop Grumman divisions (e.g. Solar Array Wing) in support of Cost Account Manager (CAM) Bill of Materials
+ Present task status to Lead Program Planner and DMM
+ Develop and present solution options to a variety of problems for evaluation and direction by the Lead Program Planner
+ Contribute to the completion of organizational projects and goals leading to the successful design, development, launch, and mission operations of national asset satellite programs
+ High School diploma and 2 years additional education and/or related experience
+ Ability to distill large amounts of data into key issues for evaluation with management
+ Ability to convey thoughts and knowledge concisely in written form (e.g. Emails, memos, etc)
+ Ability to work with team members with varied backgrounds, highly analytical approaches to problem solving, reserved or outgoing natures, etc
+ Ability to maintain an organized workload and preserve attention to detail
+ Knowledge of business management software (e.g. Email, spreadsheets, presentations, etc)
