We have the unique and significantrole to partner with NASA at Johnson Space Center \(JSC\), to be part of everyhuman spaceflight program – the International Space Station \(ISS\), NASA’s Orionspacecraft, which will carry astronauts into deep space, and Gateway, theorbiting platform providing the home for astronauts to work and travel back andforth to the moon’s surface, and serving as the platform for deep spaceexploration\.From critical systems onthe ISS to enable astronauts to live and work in space; to performing advanceddevelopment for systems leading to deep space exploration; to being part of thefoundation for Gateway\.
We also partner with NASA at JSC,the only NASA center in the United States to curate all astromaterial samplesreturned from exploration missions, to perform curation services, orbitaldebris analysis, and basic research to further humankind’s understanding of theorigins of our solar system\.

We are currently in need of a **Manager \- Sub Systems Space Communication Systems \(SSCS\)** to join our team with Barrios Technology Inc\., a JETS teammate company\. Do you have the following skills?
As a Manager \- **Sub Systems SSCS** you will:
+ Support the SSCS Project\.
+ Provide real\-time support mission support in the Mission Evaluation Room \(MER\) during Extravehicular Activity \(EVA\)\.
+ Monitor mission critical telemetry data and respond to potential communication failure or anomaly, providing engineering analysis and proximate cause of the anomaly\.
+ Lead the project ground testing of the system flight hardware, including radios, antennas and cables\.
+ Attend meetings like Flight Readiness Reviews, Configuration Control Boards, Failure Investigation Review Boards and the projects own Problem Resolution Team meetings\.
+ Provide failure reports and inputs for Problem Resolution and Corrective Action \(PRACA\) using multiple database applications\.
+ Prepare and maintains Requirements Verification Traceability Matrices \(RVTMs\)\.
+ Develop essential documentation for the system including assembly procedures, test plans, detailed acceptance test procedures and summary test results\.
+ Coordinate test activities and requirements with various NASA test facilities while working safely in accordance with JETS and NASA safety requirements\.
+ Develop and support project requirement and verification data packages to support architecture requirements, design, verification/validation, operations, and sustaining engineering\.
+ Conduct product life cycle reviews, coordinate integration, verification and validation activities\.
+ Perform ground testing and flight operations testing of hardware with end item documentation including EMI, Radiation and Thermal Testing reports in the NASA system\.
+ Perform Hardware functional testing including troubleshooting of Power Quality, Vibration, Thermal, EMI and Radiation Testing\.
+ Must have good communication and organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment\.
+ Required ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance with COMSEC credentials\.
+ Perform other duties as required\.

+ BS degree in engineering from an accredited engineering school and a minimum of fourteen \(14\) years of direct engineering experience, or a MS degree from an accredited engineering school and twelve \(12\) years of direct engineering experience, or Ph\.D\. degrees and nine \(9\) years direct engineering experience\.
+ 15 years’ of relevant experience in engineering support or testing\.
+ _Must have experience in the NASA DDMS and EDCC systems\._
+ _Must have experience with Flight Hardware and/or Flight\._
+ _Processes/Paperwork or prior working experience with Shuttle or International Space Station flight operations\._
+ _Should have extensive experience in EGSE functional testing and troubleshooting including Power Quality, Thermal and Radiation Testing\._
