We are seeking a Intern Year Round \- R&D Grad
On any given day, you may be called on to:
+ Perform technoeconomic analyses and develop models of the performance of next\-generation concentrating solar power systems
+ Work with staff to develop component and system models to evaluate the performance and levelized cost of electricity production
+ Assist with alternative designs that will be evaluated to determine optimal systems
+ Participate in testing novel designs at the National Solar Thermal Test Facility
You bring the confidence and skills to be eligible for the job by meeting these minimum requirements:
+ Earned bachelor's degree
+ Currently attending and enrolled full time in an accredited science, engineering, or math graduate program
+ Minimum cumulative GPA of 3\.0/4\.0
+ Ability to work up to 30 hours per week during the academic year, and up to 40 hours per week during the summer
+ U\.S\. citizenship
+ Undergraduate degree in STEM\-related field
+ Experience in modeling engineering components and processes, systems and technoeconomic modeling
+ Familiarity with System Advisor Model
+ Familiarity with concentrating solar power

This position does not currently require a Department of Energy \(DOE\) security clearance\.
