Gemini Energy Services, A Tetra Tech Division is currently seeking an experienced EHS Manager. This person will ensure all activities and operations are performed in a safe and deliberate manner; will maintain required safety, security and operational training; assure procedural and regulatory compliance; and make safety and security an integral part of every task; including taking the necessary steps to stop work if continuing the job is unsafe or compromises security. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: + Supports employee training of the safety program including the development and delivery of training courses + Responsible for the implementation of the safety program + Performs site inspections to confirm compliance with the safety program + Broad applied knowledge of principles, concepts and techniques in the field of environmental health & safety + Skill and ability to perform complex professional tasks independently with little instruction + Ability to work within established policies and procedures, using independent judgment and ingenuity + Analyze data and provide reports as needed + Provide corrective action recommendations to address risk, changing conditions and promote continuous improvement + Complies with all health & safety policies and practices Qualifications: EDUCATION AND REQUIRED SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: + Bachelor's degree in related technical discipline; however, a combination of education and relevant experience wherein the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the position’s duties and responsibilities have been adequately demonstrated is acceptable + 5 years relevant safety experience in the wind industry preferred but relevant construction experience also considered + OSHA-500, 510 or CSP certifications recommended but not required + The career level of the position will be determined by the years of relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; after a candidate, has been chosen + Advanced knowledge and demonstrated application of EHS good practices + Ability to develop, evaluate, and implement site specific EHS programs, training, policy and practices + Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, at the highest levels + Ability to train and mentor more junior staff + Experienced and skill to conduct research, investigate alternative solutions and recommend needed change + Level of language skills, mathematical skills, communication skills, reasoning ability and computer skills necessary to perform essential functions of the job + Ability to work in a team-oriented project environment  DESIRED/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS TO BE UPLOAD: Certifications: (please upload) + NFPA 70e electrical training + OSHA 10 Hour Safety Course completion + Tower Rescue / Competent Climber Certification or similar + Wind Turbine commissioning or maintenance experience + First Aid / CPR Preferred/Optional Attachments to Be Upload: + Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) + Rigging + Manual Handling + Confined Space + HYTORC Torque and Tension + ENSA/GWO + Rescue, safe evacuation + Electrical certifications + Crane & Rigging + Signalperson + Capstan Hoist + CADWELD + Welding + Forklift + Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) + Other Attachments to Upload: + Resume + Cover letter Tetra Tech offers a competitive compensation package including medical, prescription.
