Our ideal Assembler I should have a minimum of 6 months in solar, construction, landscaping, or other related work experience. The Assembler must possess a strong mechanical aptitude with an ability to follow direction. Must be able to work with basic hand tools and read a tape measure. The daily tasks are repetitive in nature and require strong attention to detail. This work is physically demanding in nature and requires repetitive lifting of 30 - 50 pounds, unassisted, and up to 75 pounds assisted. Your working schedule will be 8 - 10 hours a day and 5 - 6 days a week (weather Permitting). This work will be performed 100% outside and subject to extreme weather conditions for 8 - 10 hours a day. Solar Assembler II are required to travel 75% - 100% of the time. Employees will travel from their home to work sites and back. RPCS will pay for travel such as airfare, etc. Your minimum daily task will consist of, but not limited to the below tasks. As well as other duties assigned by Supervisor. Moving and staging materials Loading and unloading materials Assisting heavy equipment operators with layout Assembling of solar array tracking assembly Assembling of gear rack components Ability to follow directions Adhering to company safety procedures Mounting motor assembly Solar module staging Installation of solar modules Maintaining a clean work site
