Job Description

Wood seeks a Field Engineer for our solar/wind/renewables group. This is an excellent opportunity for new or recent graduates who want field engineering experience. This is a full-time permanent position that is located in our corporate Tucker, GA (Atlanta office) and to be assigned to field projects across the US for extended periods of time. Key Responsibilities + Work closely with site project engineer and site project manager to support project engineering and quality submittals. + Support tracking of requests for information (rfi), site instructions from client etc. + Support the tracking and reporting of QA/QC data from the field + Support document preparation for project deliverables + Review specs and drawings supporting field QC efforts, rfi’s, contractor oversight, QC submittals, etc. Requirements + University Degree in any Engineering discipline + Registered or eligible for registration as an Engineer-In-Training in the United States + 0-5 years of experience as a Field Engineer on civil construction projects + Demonstrated understanding of civil construction with the ability to read construction drawings + Demonstrated professional judgment, consistency, and attention to detail; track record of quality work products + Demonstrated performance of independent analysis, problem solving and strong organizational skills + Strong oral and written communication skills; experience preparing reports that demonstrate technical knowledge + Strong personal safety culture + The successful candidate will be required to obtain Canadian Federal Security Clearance + Environmental project experience a plus + Experience working under ISO quality requirements is a plus Wood is a global leader in the delivery of project, engineering and technical services to energy and industrial markets.
