Semper Solaris, the fastest growing leader in the Residential Roofing and Solar Installation industry, is looking for a technical and motivated Solar Service Technical Support Representative at our San Diego location. Semper Solaris provides roofing and re-roofing services, and installs solar power systems and we are rapidly growing with several locations expanding all across California. Duties and Responsibilities + Providing technical support and troubleshooting solar equipment remotely via phone + Scheduling and dispatching service appointments for customers + Creating and configuring monitoring portals for customer solar systems online + Running production analysis of job sites - analyzing the efficiency of solar systems + Conducting weekly follow ups with customers via phone + Reporting and notating customer accounts + Locating/retrieving customer information on Salesforce and other CRMs as needed + Performing general office administration work and other tasks as assigned by manager Experience and Education + A minimum of 2 years of solar industry experience required + A minimum of 3 years of previous customer service experience required + High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; some college preferred + Previous troubleshooting experience required + Experience resolving escalated customer calls + Experience with Salesforce and Excel a plus + Experience with SolarEdge Portal, Sunpower Portal, or Enphase Portal a plus Skills, Knowledge, and Attributes + Professional communication skills (written and verbal) required + Ability to work with minimal supervision + Strong problem solving skills with a technical focus + Team player + Interested in knowledge, growth, and development in the solar industry Semper Solaris is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
