On a daily basis you will be responsible for the coordination between McCarthy employees, owners, subcontractors, architects, and engineers.Please note: This role involves 100% travel.Key Responsibilities & QualificationsKey ResponsibilitiesThe Project Engineer will assist on-site Project Managers and Superintendents in managing the construction projects. PE's will work in conjunction with other Field Staff to ensure quality and timeliness of project construction and completion.General Contract and Subcontract administrationMonitor and document jobsite safety and accident preventionConstruction SchedulingMaterial & Equipment - procurement and expeditingMechanical, electrical and piping systems coordinationShop drawing and submittal review and coordinationProject cost review, reporting, updating and accountingReview of subcontractor applications for paymentParticipation in and documentation of project coordination meetingsSupervision and coordination of subcontractors' field installationsReview and negotiate change proposal pricing from subcontractorsPrepare change proposal pricing for self-performed workChange order documentation and associated cost reporting and maintenanceResearch and suggest options on construction means, methods and equipmentMaintenance of As-Built plansQuality controlProject CloseoutImplement all applicable Safety Programs and EEO/Affirmative Action Programs on the Project.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Construction Management , Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering degreeConstruction internship or other related construction work experience highly preferredMust be willing and able to travel 100% to remote solar projects across the United StatesMust be Geographically mobile and able to relocate within a regionGeneral knowledge of construction principles/practices required.Strong work ethic and desire to work in a team environmentMcCarthy is proud to be an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer regardless of race, color, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, religious beliefs, marital status, genetic information, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.Apply Here: http://www.Click2Apply.net/gbzrxbq7cmrm5yb5PI108838292
