Role Summary:The candidate will be part the advanced manufacturing team to ensure design for manufacturing/assembly activities and the industrialization of the new offshore wind turbine HAL-X. With special focus on the definition, development and outsourcing activities of the tooling’s involved in complex and critical assembly operations.
+ Define and manage the technical development of critical tooling’s and equipment’s according assembly process, ensuring components quality and safety operations
+ Validate components compatibility with assembly operations from mechanical resistance and performance point of view (deep knowledge of CAE simulations is requested)
+ Create design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment. Leads analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods
+ Follow up the manufacturing and commissioning activities to ensure on-time and on-quality execution. Support local teams to ensure knowledge transfer
+ Connects the dots across technologies and develop cross-technology solutions; works on cross-functional projects/teams to deliver technology solutions for the business
+ Communicates across the function in area of expertise
+ Master degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge or experience (or a high school diploma / GED with relevant experience in Manufacturing)
+ Relevant experience in Production Process and Equipment, including CAE simulations, in an international environment
+ Deep knowledge in ANSYS (static structural, modal and dynamic analysis) and NX
+ Experience in tooling & manufacturing equipment release, from early design to commissioning on site
+ Experience in Wind Offshore wind turbine would be highly appreciated
+ EU Work Permit
