**We are currently seeking a OEM Electric Motors Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team in Farmer Branch TX, as part of the Air Conditioning Technologies Marketing Team** .
LG Electronics is looking to hire technical sales engineer for HVAC industries, especially electric motors that are applied to Air conditioner and Refrigerator for both residential and commercial products. This position will perform project managing between LG and customers and communication with R&D teams within OEM manufacturers..
The selected team member will be a competent and experienced Sales Engineer in fractional/small integral Electric Motor industry. Prefer candidates who are experienced in both Induction and PM Motor designs as coupled with Inverter drivers. In this role, the successful applicant will be responsible for all new projects and technical support to OEM manufacturers. He/She will manage pipeline and develop new customers to contribute to immediate annual revenue growth and generate long term potential growth.
**Principal Duties & Responsibilities:**
+ Promote new LG technology and established LG capabilities to customers, i.e. OE Manufacturers
+ Introduce new products or technology to win priority over competition
+ Understand OEM requirements then guide projects to meet their need with competitive LG solutions
+ Understand LG capabilities and provide support as needed to supplement OEM capabilities
+ Negotiate any product changes or improvements with customers
+ for better profits or productivity
+ for quality improvements or unexpected issue resolution
+ Manage pipeline, project status and timeline for the one’s own customers
+ Weekly update for every project
+ Day-to-day communication with customers
+ Technical Communication with LG R&D
+ Resolve differences between customer and LG HQ R&D
+ Guide LG HQ R&D to achieve successful product launches
+ Generate technical reporting materials
+ Develop new customers & applications
+ Develop new customers to launch existing products
+ Develop new applications to expand business categories (various air movers, small appliances, etc.)
+ Market & customer information research
+ Research customer development direction or plan
+ Research market trends like new market segments, regional regulations, etc...
+ Periodical report to team leader and HQ
+ Internal collaboration
+ Cooperation with all other Sales Engineers in Technical Support Center
+ Cooperation with Quality Engineers in Technical Support Center
+ Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical with excellent electrical aptitude
+ 5+ years with applicable hands-on motor/inverter design or application responsibilities
+ Understand motor/inverter applications/Testing Method and Procedure/limitations
+ Comprehend mechanical fitments and drawing interpretations
+ Possess excellent people/communication skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or a related field as appropriate.
+ Possess strong analytical capabilities and ability to manage tasks associated with development of projects.
+ Fully competent in analysis and assessment of mechanical and electronic systems. Effectively leading in team settings.
+ Good written and verbal communication skills and is comfortable working in customer-facing situations.
+ Solid computer skills, including an understanding of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Project.
+ Ability to Travel approximately 30%.
