Purpose The Business Analyst role is responsible understanding business planning process and providing technical expertise regarding the support/configuration of the SAP Planning System. The role will provide technical guidance and support to Financial Planning & Analysis and their users with respect to software and configuration for the planning system, resolving technical issues, system metadata maintenance, user access, workflow configuration, reporting / template development, and application development / enhancement opportunities. Accountabilities + Provides technical guidance and support to Financial Planning & Analysis with respect to software for the planning system and all the data integrated financial systems; with a strong focus on SAP EPM solutions in BPC or SAC Planning. + Develop project deliverables such requirements documentation, functional design documents, process flow documents and test plans related to the planning function. + Take initiative to work with business user and technical team members on system requirement gathering, analysis, design, testing and implementation to enhance or onboard a planning system. + Gather and document requirements and develop functional design documents, so that the technical design conforms to functional requirements. + Responsible for maintaining and supporting financial systems on behalf of the Planning function such as: SAC Planning or BPC, and other integrated financial systems. + Working closely with IT, evaluate and recommend business process and technology driven enhancement opportunities based on system upgrades, releases and patches. + Maintain metadata hierarchy structures in the planning system. + Maintain user access and perform user access reviews for SOX compliance. + Provide technical expertise regarding report / template development, dashboards and workflow configuration. + During the implementation phase Customer 1st will be 100%. After R1 Go-Live Support will be 75%. Education & Experience + University - Bachelor degree or equivalent. + 3-5 years of experiences. + Previous experience with SAP BPC or SAC Planning.
