Role Summary:In the current process of business grow, facing projects with Haliade X platform-the Commissioning Technical Support Engineer will execute an important role, both during the tendering phase, as well as support for the creation and release of Project Commissioning Engineering documentation, in order to ensure an optimal level of knowledge transfer, achieving both Technical and EHS excellence. Quality & Customer Satisfaction will be the main goals Essential Responsibilities:Follow Haliade Commissioning Strategy to ensure an optimal on time works execution. + In coordination with Commissioning Engineering Manager and Commissioning Package Manager, management and elaboration of the documentation for the commissioning procedures detailing the process to be followed in each test of the equipment, documentation required for the handover between installation and commissioning phases, turbine inspection, punch-list check-up, NCRs, ECs + Define and describe the HV commissioning tests of the project, creating a detailed program of works, communicate and agree with the rest of the Commissioning Team. + Coordination offshore of the GE activities on the HV system + During tendering phase; Asset and define the best strategy for electricity sources required to start of the commissioning considering the different stages of the grid availability during the WF installation + Plan commissioning electrical tests and HV test for the project, creating a detailed program of work; communicate and agree with the rest of the commissioning team and project leaders + Ensure a proper link and communication between Commissioning Engineering and Design Engineering Departments + Propose process improvements to optimize security and / or reduce costs; special attention should be paid to EHS compliance + Support the back office purchasing team by defining clear tooling and spares lists to be acquired for the ongoing projects + Support to the Commissioning Technicians during the electrical and HV jobs execution and the troubleshooting + Cooperate and provide support in combating any emergency that arises + Prepare and lead the Lessons Learn feedback to other functions like supply chain, engineering + Together with the technical project manager, ensure the scope follows the technical requirements and manage the changes of engineering following Project Procedures (derogation, Engineering changes) + Collaborate with the Control System manager to set the wind farms communication systems, hardware and software in collaboration with the IT and engineering departments + Ensure that technical deviations are reported with a corresponding non-conformance report (NCR) + Together with the Commissioning Electrical support Engineer, revise and approve the procedures for the turbines energization during construction using temporally mini-grid or generators, as well as connecting to the grid + Prove guidance and support the technical team for any trouble of event which could hinder the continuation of the works or safe operation on site + Proposal of process improvements in order to get highest level in Security and/or cost reduction. Special attention to guarantee the fulfilment of EHS Qualifications/Requirements: + Technical diploma in electro-mechanics, industrial engineering, with similar or equivalent experience + Computer Science: Knowledge of Microsoft Applications and Industrial and Management Software + Experience in wind turbines commissioning and service + Experience with tools, suppliers and use of quality tools + EU Work Permit If contracted in Spain: Non-national candidates are responsible to know the minimum documentation requirements to be able to be contracted in country: NIE- Social Security Affiliation Number in Spain (NAF) and Bank Account in Spain. They must be in possession of them at the time of start hiring. GE will not sponsor this requirement.
