Role Summary:In the current process of business grow, facing projects with Haliade X platform - the Commissioning Documentation Engineer will execute an important role, both during the tendering phase, as well as support for the creation and release of Project Commissioning Engineering documentation, in order to ensure an optimal level of knowledge transfer, achieving both Technical and EHS excellence. Quality & Customer Satisfaction will be the main goals. Essential Responsibilities: + Follow Haliade Commissioning Strategy to ensure an optimal on time works execution + Create, Release and Control documentation for Haliade commissioning procedures considering the most up to date Electrical Machinery Standards + Plan commissioning tests for the project, creating a detailed program of work; communicate and agree with the rest of the commissioning team and project leaders + Create, Release and Control the documentation specific for each project required during the tendering and execution phase, considering the particularities of the project, applicable regulations and customer standards + Ensure a proper link and communication between Commissioning Engineering and Design Engineering Departments + Propose process improvements to optimize security and / or reduce costs; special attention should be paid to EHS compliance + Support the back office purchasing team by defining clear tooling and spares lists to be acquired for the ongoing projects + Support to the Commissioning Technicians for the documentation required to carry out the execution jobs for the troubleshooting + Cooperate and provide support in combating any emergency that arises + Collaborate on the Lessons Learn feedback to other functions like supply chain, engineering + Together with the technical project manager, ensure the scope follows the technical requirements and manage the changes of engineering following Project Procedures (derogation, Engineering changes) + Provide support during the assembly and the factory test in the assembly plants for the definition and preparation of the procedures and test plans required for the testing of the units + Revise and approve the procedures for commissioning + Provide support the technical team for the technical documentation required to correct any trouble of event which could hinder the continuation of the works or safe operation on site Qualifications/Requirements: + Technical diploma in electro-mechanics, industrial engineering, with similar or equivalent knowledge or experience + Experience in wind turbines commissioning and service + Experience with tools, suppliers and use of quality tools + EU Work Permit If contracted in Spain: Non-national candidates are responsible to know the minimum documentation requirements to be able to be contracted in country: NIE- Social Security Affiliation Number in Spain (NAF) and Bank Account in Spain. They must be in possession of them at the time of start hiring. GE will not sponsor this requirement.
