Role Summary: As a part of our SCADA Installation & Commissioning team in EMEA you will be the "top-tier" field support for our SCADA and WindCONTROL products from pre-sale inquiries to order completion. Essential Responsibilities: + Field commissioning and acceptance testing + Follow-up on customer issues, troubleshooting and implementation of corrective measures + Collaboration with other GE field support, engineering and development organizations + Support of new product introductions and validations Qualifications/Requirements: + Completed Electrical Engineering Education, Master Craftsmen (Electrical) or similar + Experience in applying, commissioning, supporting and troubleshooting SCADA systems + Leadership skills such as Site Manager or Commissioning Lead + Principal knowledge of Grid Interfaces such as IEC (101, 103, 104) ModBus, DNP3 as well as network architecture, communication layouts and networking communication interfaces + Ability and willingness to extensive national and international travel (up to 75%), occasionally with short notice + Valid Driver's License + Ability to work in heights (GWO certification can be obtained during probationary period) + Germany & English fluency, particularly with technical background About Us: GE Renewable Energy is a 9 billion dollar start-up that brings together one of the broadest product and service portfolios of the renewable energy industry.
