*Description/Job Summary* The Senior IT Administratorsupervises and supports advanced material handling and sortation systems, in addition to computer and network hardware,software and communications systemswithin the facility. Manages and supports personnel responsible for installation, troubleshooting, repairing, training, auditing and reportingof systemsstatus. Monitors and controls advanced material handling systems and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. /Relocation assistance is not available for this position/. * Responsibilities/Duties* Utilize advanced knowledge of IT and inventory management to manage advanced material handling systems (Dematic) and other facility systems and hardware. Troubleshoot PLCs and other peripherals.Provide analysis of material handling data Supervise the department s daily activities to ensure the timely and accurate completion of work, including installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and training. Assign daily work direction, prepare schedules and resolve issues. Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure efficiency. Actively problem solve to identify constraints and operational issues early, resulting in increased efficiency. Develop trouble response protocols and tools for facility systems. Monitor system generated errors and recommend improved methodology and practices to correct errors. Lead process improvement initiatives and projects. Recommend and maintain optimal hardware and software for facility operations. Responsible for purchasing certain IT equipment. Maintain accurate inventory of facility IT equipment. Stay abreast of changing and evolving technology. Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with Corporate and supplier support personnel. Communicate with Corporate Distribution team to promote improved function and efficiency of operations. *Required Experience* 5+ years of IT experience in the areas of analysis, installation, maintenance and repair within a distribution setting. Experiance with automated Inventory Control Systems requried. *Required Qualifications* High School degree or equivalent required. Associate or Bachelor's degree in IT related field preferred. Professional certification in Microsoft, C ++, Borland. Inventory management or Distribution management certifiction is a plus. Experience in logistics, inventory control and process management software applications. Strong operational experience with Solar Winds, Windows Office 365, MS Windows Server and AS400 systems required. Proficient in MS Office Suite. Must possess logic-based analytical skills with a strong ability to resolve difficult technical issues using problem-solving techniques.
