The Line Lead will work in partnership with their Production Supervisor in helping to oversee the line and ensure that associates are in their positions and understand the goals for the day. The Line Lead will monitor and manage the associates for breaks and ensure that everyone understands their role and provide training as needed. . **Responsibilities** + Be able to control output of various machines in order to produce quality parts that are within required specifications + Meet and exceed production quantity goals set forth each day to meet customer satisfaction + Manage and oversee associates in production area and ensure they are following cycle times and rotations + Oversee and ensure that all functions/steps are being done accurately and following processes and provide additional training as needed + Perform daily maintenance checklist + Read and interpret equipment manuals and Standard Operating Procedures to perform required maintenance and service + Detect and communicate faulty operations or equipment issues to proper supervision in a timely manner + Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during PM schedule to minimize downtime + Responsible for tracking KPI data, downtime reporting and cycle time tracking + Partner with team members to ensure areas are kept clean, neat and organized + Ensure and direct team members to take timely breaks while still providing coverage + Ensure closing report is accurate and done timely by end of each shift + Perform other miscellaneous duties as required **Requirements** + High School Diploma or GED + Minimum of 2 years of preventative maintenance experience + Understanding and knowledge of production processes + Able to read, write, and communicate in English + Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide + Good computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office preferred + Team player in a manufacturing environment + Strong mechanical ability to analyze equipment issues + Ability to communicate + Interpersonal skills + Ability to stand during scheduled shift + Temperature will vary based on area in production from hot to cold + Ability to move, bend, lift, and turn constantly during the duration of shift + Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs LG Electronics, USA Inc.; LG Mobilecomm USA, Inc., LG Mobile Research USA LLC, and Zenith Electronics LLC provides equal employment opportunity to all individuals regardless of their race, color, creed, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by state, federal, or local law.
