Department:Customer Care, Billing Operations, Credit & Collections

Responsibilities include the daily customer billing process along with multiple other billing activities. Expected to be a collaborative billing team member and contribute to process improvements.
+ Perform all aspects of billing, including exceptions, adjustments and complaints efficiently and timely
+ Monitor bill production activities
+ Become competent in the Cogsdale System by identifying issues, taking actions towards resolution
+ Ensures timely, accurate and quality billing processes and performs troubleshooting when necessary
+ Assists with meter reading exceptions
+ Completes billing service orders
+ Receive and process billing transactions and requests, further escalate as needed
Education & Experience
+ High school diploma or GED required
+ Two years of progressively responsible related experience
+ Utility experience preferred
+ Requires ability to perform advanced mathematical operations and/or accounting methods
+ Valid driver’s license and current insurance required
+ Must be able to travel if needed, possess or be eligible to obtain US Passport
