JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE
The Bond Lab Technician is responsible for the bonding or debonding of sputtering targets and backing plates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Cleaning of targets and backing plates
- Cleaning of bonded assemblies
- Maintains training documents
- Operates hot plates, Ion plater and all hand tools used
- Can perform complex metallic and epoxy bonds
- Knows how to read drawings
- Maintains supplies needed for target finishing/Bond Lab
- Knows all functions of target finishing and bond lab
- Can perform SAP transactions
- Comply with all quality, safety and work rules and regulations

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Requires high school diploma or equivalent plus one year of industrial training and three to twelve months related experience to become familiar with equipment and processes.
