Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power toolsB. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other componentsC. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of systemD. Install, repair, and maintain motors, transformers, generators, lights, appliances, circuits, wiring, and other electrical system equipment and components in compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulationsE. Study plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirement and sequence of repairs and/or installationsF. Repair and maintain high voltage systemsG. Organize work by receiving and studying work orders; gather tools and suppliesH. Read prints, layout work and install new serviceI. Repair electrical problems by replacing faulty parts and componentsJ. Maintain electrical systems by conducting system tests; complete preventive maintenance requirementsK. Keep supplies ready by placing ordersL. Maintain safe work environment by following standards and procedures; comply with codesM. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; read technical publicationsN. Lead team members by example, offer effective coaching and feedback, and effectively manage performanceO.
