Come join the team! **We are currently seeking a Director E-Commerce Business Manager- Bi-lingual (English & Korean) to join our dynamic team in Englewood Cliffs, NJ as part of the Marketing Team!** **Position Summary:** LG Electronics has established its strong ground in US consumer electronics and mobile/IT markets based on continuous innovations and product quality appreciated by US consumers. With an endeavoring effort to expand its reach to final consumers via digital channels, the company is seeking an eCommerce Business Manager to develop business plan via its multiple online commerce platforms and operate them cohesively to achieve annual target; the position is located at the headquarters in Englewood Cliff New Jersey. Reporting to the DX(Digital Transformation) organization, the eCommerce Business Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the eCommerce biz planning and execution of its strategy to build a strong biz presence in online domain as well as to acquire data-driven business insights. The Director, eCommerce Business Manager will be responsible for developing the annual/quarterly business plan to tap into online business opportunity, carving data-driven product & marketing strategy to fulfill business objective and providing operation report (PSI : Purchase–Sales–Inventory / OSM : Online Store Management dashboard) for online eCommerce platforms : OBS, OBS-P/E, (LG owned D2C channels) and major E-tailors (Amazon, Google / BBY, Costco, THD etc.). The successful individual will ensure business goal orientation with data-driven insights on online market/consumers in the planning process. And he/she will develop and implement eCommerce strategy(4P : product, price, promotion, place) both for LG-owned/E-tailor channels coordinating with product sales and digital marketing team to achieve annual target. Also he/she will be required to set up a monitoring process to see the progress of operation(PSI, OSM) as well as target achievement ratio. He/she will work closely with key partners in digital/retail marketing, product/sales team, GTM, SCM as well as major dealers with online channels. This individual will be considered one of the key internal and external representatives of eCommerce and must be able to successfully engage their audience cross-functionally. It's crucial that the Director eCommerce Business Manager is cognizant of the changes in the marketplace. The successful candidate must be 100% engaged in the everyday business. She/he must know how to set business priorities in annual planning and develop the right strategies for online channels, and deliver on the deadlines. She/he must monitor development of online sales operation while providing a guidance or implementing an optimization with a system. And She/he is able to assess the effectiveness of sales/marketing programs based on data-analytics and determine/ensure ROI on each investments. eCommerce Business Planning : Business acumen and data-driven analytics mindset to define an online channel opportunity (3C perspective : consumer, competition, company) of each product category and apply it into annual planning (Business objective, product roadmap, communication calendar, budget planning). Financial KPI(sales/profit) to be set based on competitor/category benchmark, internal profit simulation and dynamic game plan scenario. eCommerce 4P Strategy : Defining key strategies to list right products at right price with competitive marketing programs to convert traffic to sales depending on online channels selected. With alignment of this strategy, PRM(Product RoadMap)and PSI(product purchase-sales-inventory) to be implemented. eCommerce Operation : Optimization(search, product info, reviews, inventory etc.) implemented on e-Tailors’ store with in-depth knowledge of its eco-system as a merchant to achieve sales target. Guidance provided to OBS(Online Brand Shop by LG) and e-Tailors in regards to PSI management, business optimization(sales & profit) as well as conversion data analytics. **Responsibilities:** + Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle. + Determines material requirements from engineering and production schedules. + Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering. + Develops specifications for new contract orders. + Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity; creates and maintains bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enterprise wide systems. + Travel required 20~30% + Participates in the develop of LG's US Brand vision and long term brand strategy + Develops and implements best-in-class marketing programs to build the LG brand + Develops communication strategies for each segment, prioritizing message points and specific marketing programs; ensure communication is integrated across all elements of marketing mix, including advertising, online, in-store, PR and consumer activation/promotional platforms + Engages key stakeholders across the organization, including US senior management, sales leaders, HQ product counterparts, in communication plans and priorities + Serves as brand lead on key marketing activities including media planning and budgeting **Job Requirements:** + A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field is desirable (not required); an MBA is preferred + 10 year experience in eCommerce/digital marketing roles with major consumer brand is required. Hands-on experience in eCommerce platform as a main business operation is strongly desired + Must have online sales and digital marketing background; Experience in managing product/service sales thru online channel to meet annual sales objectives. Team player who have worked with digital marketing team/agency and distributor partners to maximize ROI and deliver online channel strategy is preferred + Professional experience in B2C online/retail marketing required; B2B2C marketing would be advantageous. Experience with B2C marketing, which will entail market insights on STP(segmentation, targeting, positioning) and development of retail marketing programs + Must have demonstrable data analytics skills and online business planning capability to deliver structured eCommerce strategy and its efficient operation + Demonstrated successes working effectively with retail marketing/ sales teams is required + Budget and agency management experience, including digital marketing, creative services and production is required + Must possess excellent data analytic skills combined with excellent presentation and public speaking skills. Proven leadership/management skills with effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills is required + Must be a highly engaged leader who is cognizant of the changes in the marketplace. + Ability to build consensus and obtain organizational alignment for initiatives is required + A demonstrated track record of influencing priorities and motivating cross-functional partners for support is preferred. Strong prioritization, project management, time management and organizational skills is preferred + Detail-oriented and who can also think strategically/communicate strategic implications is preferred + Must be a team player that demonstrates a collegial/collaborative working style. + Action-oriented and responsive in a very fast-paced environment, Ability to build/maintain effective relationships in a team-oriented, high demand environment + Must have ability to successfully multi-task, problem solving skills, highly customer-centric and focused. + Proven experience with building consumer data base that can be leveraged for data and activation purpose + Bi-lingual (English & Korean) is preferred.
