# of Openings:1The OpportunityUlteig Engineers Project Management team has an opportunity to hire a SeniorProject Manager with emphasis on Solar engineering projects. The position canbe based out of Austin, TX, Denver, CO, Fargo, ND, Sacramento,CA, or St. Paul, MN. This will be a challenging role in which you willoften be involved in the entire scope of the project from initiation throughclose-out. You will play an important role in the growth of our ProjectManagement group. The Project Manager will be responsible for the successfulinitiation, planning, execution, control and close-out of complex solarprojects. The successful candidate must have exceptional leadership skills andpossess the ability to successfully navigate through and resolve complex andoftentimes multi-functional challenges associated with large projects.What You'll DoProvide strategic project management leadership for large and complex solarprojectsResponsible for the overall management of the project scope, schedule and costAccountable for key project decision makingManages a collaborative project team to ensure each key functional projectdiscipline is meeting the planned project scope, schedule and costLead overall project - coaching, conflict resolution, facilitation,motivation and negotiationResponsible for leading project meetingsPoint person for contract negotiation and managementAccountable to develop, update and manage the project planCoordinate communication and provides status updates to stakeholders asrequiredAssess project risk and proactively develop mitigation plansProactively manages project requests for information and action itemsWork collaboratively with the Project Controls team to ensure projectschedules and costs are managed and tracking to planResponsible for negotiating and executing contracts and services agreements.[CC1]Responsible for leading projects through all internal and external processesEnsure availability or seeks out adequate resources to support the projectProficient in analyzing problems, identifying alternative solutions,project consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations tosupport project scope, schedule and cost objectivesEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted inthe course of workDemonstrates excellent leadership, verbal/written communications, timemanagement, interpersonal and organizational skillsConsistently produces results that meet goals, has high work standards,and understands the business environment and processesAchieves results by problem solving, setting priorities and organizationMaintains customer focus to meet or exceed customer expectations and representUlteig in a professional and courteous mannerStrives for individual excellence by seeking challenges and self-development, demonstrating high levels of expertise and showingcommitment, self-confidence and integrityWhat We Expect from YouBachelor's Degree in relevant field requiredPMP Certification Preferred.5+ years of Utility-scale Solar construction, engineering, and/orproject management experience is preferredDemonstrate the ability to be organized and work on multiple projects and meetdeadlines by setting prioritiesMust be able to prepare clear and concise status updates and reports asrequiredProven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel,PowerPoint and Project)Must be able to travel to project sites as requiredMust have permanent work authorization for the US
