Key ingredients: + Maintain and continuously improve standard project schedule templates to track key project milestone dates and performance metrics. + Work with project team to finalize and update project-specific schedule durations and milestones on a regular basis, ensuring the Project Plans of Record are accurately reflected in the database of projects and project management portal. + Attend regular project team meetings to define, modify and track key project data. + Organize and maintain accuracy of key project data across entire portfolio of active projects and new project pipeline, including milestone dates, project costs, energy, and basic system specifications. + Report to senior management on project health, actual performance against key baselines, and recovery plans. + Coordinate with Procurement to track and ensure equipment lead times are incorporated into project plans, and accurately reflect the NRG Renew technology mix. + Support project teams in properly cataloging and managing key project documents and deliverables, whether in support of discretionary permit applications and filings, populating data rooms for investors and partners, or facilitating project handoff points internally at key stage-gates. + Work with internal stakeholders to develop and improve project data management tools, processes, and communication forums. + Develop internal tools, templates, and guidelines to improve project data accuracy across various business units and internal functional teams. Requirements Minimum requirements and specific skills + B.S. degree in civil engineering, or a related engineering field. + 5 years of experience in the management, coordination and scheduling of projects in development and construction. + 5 years of experience in renewables development and construction sequencing, standard scopes of work, and durations. + 5 years of experience in development and construction best practices, including information sharing, database management and project administration. + 5 years of experience using the Microsoft Office suite, especially MS Project, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. + 5 years of experience creating templates, tools, and macros to quickly and consistently produce professional database reports. + 5 years of experience with SAP, Oracle or equivalent ERP system.
