Perform and assist in daily operation maintenance and repair activities in a safe, effective and timely manner. Have a strong electrical mind with a basic understanding of mechanics, chemistry, physics, and mathematics to complete tasks. Work and perform effectively in a rotating shift work environment. Use excellent written and verbal communication skills to reach efficient team goals.
+ Must be able to complete the requirements of the Energy Supply Operator Training System.
+ Interpret and understand P&ID's, logic diagrams, drawings or schematics.
+ Utilize the DCS (distributed control system), prints, and manuals for trouble shooting.
+ Document work flow processes in a safe and efficient manner.
+ Visually read and respond to computer generated data with variations in color, instrumentation, gauges, and digital readouts.
+ Desire to develop leadership skills and function as acting foreman.
+ Capable of cross training in order perform and assist in daily maintenance and repair activities.
Education & Experience
+ Must pass the EEI POSS test.
+ Strong electrical aptitude.
+ Minimum 1 year recent power plant operational experience preferred.
+ Willingness to continue training and education, with the ability to travel for training.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office.
