These solutions will be integrated in to smart home solutions for our residential customers and to provide optimized energy use solution for our commercial and industrial customers We are looking to ire a **Sales Engineer-Energy Storage Solutions** to join our dynamic team in either New Jersey or California **Job Description** + Understand the bi directional inverter and control system technology on high voltage ESS + Understand lithium ion battery technology and industry practices to provide guidance to the organization on the application of technology. + Direct corporate response to RFP/RFQ regarding plant integrator, equipment and technology selection + Collaborates with the relevant team in the preparation and coordination of project proposals, technical project materials and other marketing efforts with technical view. + Establish and maintain the engineering, design criteria and applicable standards and specifications for ESS project + Perform site visits and ESS field inspection in advance to check any risks from engineering side to make a contract. + Interface, communicate and establish relationship with ESS integrators or developers. Periodically visiting their offices and facilities to receive any update on their projects or technical requests. + Response to technical issues on installed ESS sites. Collaborate with development team in HQ to find technical solutions on issues + Develop an understanding of the various incentives and market drivers for each state and system operator and communicate this information to appropriate managers + Support development to assure timely and cost effective resolution to regulatory, permitting and technical issues associated with the execution and delivery of ESS + Ensure the highest level of environmental health and safety in all engineering with aspects of energy storage project **Required Qualifications** + Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or relevant degree + Must have a minimum 5 years of technical experience with grid connected ESS + Familiar with lithium ion battery and LiB based ESS + Familiar with relevant codes and standards for LiB ESS and inverters (NEC, IBC, IFC, NFPA, UL, IEC) is highly preferred. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate highly complex engineering, construction and operational issues + Experience and understand in CAD drawing + 50% travel via plane and/or automobile required + Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and carry 25 pounds \#LI-GJ1 LG Electronics, USA Inc.; LG Mobilecomm USA, Inc., LG Mobile Research USA LLC, and Zenith Electronics LLC provides equal employment opportunity to all individuals regardless of their race, color, creed, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by state, federal, or local law.
