**We are currently seeking a Direct View LED (DVLED) Product Training Manager to join our dynamic team out of your Home/Field as part of the Business Solutions Product Team!**
Responsible for overseeing delivery of best-in-class product training to Account Managers, internal LGEUS employees and third-party Channel Partners and PRO AV System Integrators utilizing principles of learning & instructional design across a variety of training modules including instructor-led face-to-face, Web based online and printed materials. Responsible for increasing sell-in (via sales teams) and sell-thru (via Channel Partners and third party brand advocates) by enhancing LGEUS product and brand knowledge. The Training Manager will also be required to maintain knowledge of market trends and competitive programs and product information. Evaluate and assess curriculum and make recommendations to continually position the DVLED team as the pinnacle leader in industry. Responsible for the direct supervision of the Product Training team including delegation of training projects, planning training calendar with Sales teams and schedule management and reporting.
**The Training Manager will be responsible for but not limited to the following** :
+ Manages the design, development and delivery of instructor-led training courses on business-specific processes, products, systems or other initiatives. Evaluates student performance through written and hands-on assessments.
+ Manages project support for training initiatives including acting as a subject matter expert for instructional designers, eLearning developers and technical writers reviewing instructional designs, testing procedures and technology.
+ Populates system training or test regions with data for use in classes. Provides client updates, analyzes data and writes training summaries. Manages training projects from start to finish coordinating tasks and timelines.
+ Maintains subject matter expertise for assigned business areas including job shadowing, attending team meetings, process updates, staffing and providing production support.
+ Engages instructional designers when significant edits are required (course redesigns). Designs and develops course content for narrowly focused topics.
+ Consults with business to determine performance gaps and generate innovative solutions.
+ Supervises the Product Training team including approval and scheduling of training event staffing and monitoring of Trainer team performance.
+ Establishes training team KPIs and Annual Training Plan and reports on training effectiveness and results of activities.
+ Manages the preparation of training meetings including creating and updating class rosters, sending registrations, managing hardware and software set-up, completing evaluation tracking, ensuring room and equipment setup and ordering materials.
+ Builds team structure and increases team efficiency by contributing to internal processes and tools.
+ Maintain a current 30 day calendar of training events for training management
+ Create and deliver training content for Monthly, Quarterly and Annual sales meeting
+ Develop Channel Partner and System integrator certification curriculum
+ Provide technical support to customer’s staff (sales, operations, planning, and marketing) and customers by providing technical information and training
+ Align all Training Content with appropriate Commercial Display Industry Standards and certification of curriculum materials (AVIXA and AIA) courses certified (RU/LU)
+ Bachelor’s Degree
+ +8 years of relevant corporate work experience.
+ A minimum of 3-4 years in AV and DVLED industry; good understanding of the DVLED market.
+ Sales training Experience in DVLED industry required.
+ Excellent organizational, planning, presentation and communications skills
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint; Snag It, PaintShop Pro, MS Visio
+ Dynamic, outgoing personality with solid presentation skills and a strong interest in delivering training in a classroom setting
+ Content creation (instructional design) skills preferred
+ Team player with effective interpersonal skills and a focus on customer service
+ Flexible work style with the ability to handle a fast-paced environment with unexpected changes
+ Ability and willingness to travel upto 75% (during busy season)
