JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE Under the direction of the Customer Service Supervisor, the Customer Service Representative (CSR) will be the point of contact for current and potential customers. This position helps support PAC by generating revenue though obtaining orders, understanding technical requirements, providing access to technical information, developing accounts, and assisting with New Business Opportunities. This position will work cooperatively with Field Sales, Account Management, and other members of the PAC team to grow existing customers and create new customers while increasing customer satisfaction. This position handles more complex .and.amp; diverse PAC product lines .and.amp; customer accounts as required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES .and.amp; RESPONSIBILITIES * Receive and process orders and inquiries from current and prospective customers. * Monitor the status of orders and oftentimes initiate contact with customers to assure they are fully aware of any changes in the original delivery specifications. * Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, or credit terms. * Quote prices, credit terms, or other bid specifications as required. * Accurately and effectively administers all aspects of order entry including invoices, certifications and acknowledgements. International paperwork for exporting of Materion Products. * Maintain .and.amp; verify customer records, using automated systems or other record retention methods as required. * Provide "Professional Service Level" regarding all verbal and written communications with current and potential customers and vendors. * Meet or exceed customer expectations regarding delivery, quality, and service. * Obtain working knowledge of Materion's products, applications, manufacturing, and technical capability. * Keep in close contact with Field Sales, Account Management, .and.amp; Manufacturing Site Operations, Planning, Shipping .and.amp; Quality personnel, making certain any issues and problems are completely explained. * Work with customers using problem resolution and recovery tools when material must be returned and/or credits issued. * Adhere to all Health .and.amp; Safety requirements and serve as an active supporting participant of the plans and initiatives of Materion.
