The Senior Development analyst designs and develops applications, interfaces and databases following a defined software development lifecycle, in accordance with company procedures, security policies, and SOX compliance requirements. This position also monitors and maintains the existing applications, interfaces and 3rd party provided applications.
+ Develop functional design specifications to solve business problems, difficulty level: (simple to moderate).
+ Develop and modify code/packages/programs based on functional design specifications."
+ Develop application and database interfaces as required.
+ Follow documented source code management processes to ensure proper version/ configuration control of work product.
+ Monitor/maintain performance/security of existing systems through effective implementation and usage of appropriate tools and procedures for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
+ Provide rotational support of applications, and associated data and application integrations/platform. Assist in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines.
+ Provide capacity planning/reporting of application environments & platforms, conducting appropriate routine health-checks, as well as tune/optimize platform/process/integrations.
+ Work with peers, senior members and managed service providers to maintain certain parts/activities of application platforms.
+ Maintain 3rd party applications as specified and maintain security and performance of various 3rd party Application Service Provider interfaces.
+ Provide prescribed changes/updates/maintenance/emergency fixes of production applications and manage the update/patch lifecycle with managed service providers and application vendors.
Education & Experience
+ University - Bachelor degree or equivalent.
+ 3-5 years of experiences.
+ MS Visual Studio / Java certification preferred.
+ Expert experience in .NET application development tools.
+ Solid coding/debugging/design in above, High level proficiency in SQL (T-SQL) Design and Development.
+ Some knowledge and experience in SharePoint Development preferable.
+ Some experience with JAVA, and Jquery.
+ Expert comprehension and demonstrated experience MVC pattern framework.
+ Some experience with various security and compliance measures.
