Purpose The Senior Development analyst designs and develops applications, interfaces and databases following a defined software development lifecycle, in accordance with company procedures, security policies, and SOX compliance requirements. This position also monitors and maintains the existing applications, interfaces and 3rd party provided applications. Accountabilities + Develop functional design specifications to solve business problems, difficulty level: (simple to moderate). + Develop and modify code/packages/programs based on functional design specifications." + Develop application and database interfaces as required. + Follow documented source code management processes to ensure proper version/ configuration control of work product. + Monitor/maintain performance/security of existing systems through effective implementation and usage of appropriate tools and procedures for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging. + Provide rotational support of applications, and associated data and application integrations/platform. Assist in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines. + Provide capacity planning/reporting of application environments & platforms, conducting appropriate routine health-checks, as well as tune/optimize platform/process/integrations. + Work with peers, senior members and managed service providers to maintain certain parts/activities of application platforms. + Maintain 3rd party applications as specified and maintain security and performance of various 3rd party Application Service Provider interfaces. + Provide prescribed changes/updates/maintenance/emergency fixes of production applications and manage the update/patch lifecycle with managed service providers and application vendors. Education & Experience + University - Bachelor degree or equivalent. + 3-5 years of experiences. + MS Visual Studio / Java certification preferred. + Expert experience in .NET application development tools. + Solid coding/debugging/design in above, High level proficiency in SQL (T-SQL) Design and Development. + Some knowledge and experience in SharePoint Development preferable. + Some experience with JAVA, and Jquery. + Expert comprehension and demonstrated experience MVC pattern framework. + Some experience with various security and compliance measures.
