Come join the team! **We are currently seeking an Injection Molding Manager to join our dynamic team in Clarksville, TN.** The Injection Molding Manager will lead and direct a team of 90-100 employees in a state of the art injection department with presses ranging from 450 ton through 1800 ton with robotic automation. Experience with various substrates such as Polypropylene and ABS are critical. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and achieving set KPI goals through the use of FI11 and Jung Do management systems. This is a high visibility position that requires a total commitment to world class injection results through collaboration with factory supporters, both domestically and internationally. The ability to work with cross-functional teams is an absolute must. **Responsibilities:** + Responsible for establishing foundational safety and health principles that promote a ZERO INCIDENT environment. + Aggressively manage the material flow process from incoming raw material bead in super sacks to finished goods + Maintain production volumes to support the downstream production departments such as paint and pad printing + Establish support programs to drive favorable results in all KPI’s (scrap, labor spend, tooling maintenance, OEE, & inventory) and establish corrective measures for results not meeting the established targets + Provide leadership to team members for individual and group technical skill development./ training programs + Develop partnerships with US based vendors to have adequate supply lines for consumables and repairs + Keen knowledge of tooling, drawings, machining, mold theory & plastics processing capabilities + Ensure systemic accuracy of inventory and participate in monthly inventory counts & auditing activities + Adheres to yearly budget and carries out the plan to meet that budget by managing team spend + Aligns with Innovation team to improve departmental performance through continuous improvement activities **Requirements:** + Bachelor's degree required or equivalent years of experience + 5+ years leadership capabilities and experience with plastics processing + Six Sigma training experience desired + Experience with auxiliary equipment applications such as dryers, vacuum pumps, chillers, etc + Superior proficiency with MS platforms specifically Excel & Power Point + Knowledge of controllable P&L line items + Participate in strategic direction meetings for the factory LG Electronics, USA Inc.; LG Mobilecomm USA, Inc., LG Mobile Research USA LLC, and Zenith Electronics LLC provides equal employment opportunity to all individuals regardless of their race, color, creed, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by state, federal, or local law.
