Together, we share an unusual goal to drive our business forward byattracting, keeping, and developing the strongest talent.As an Operations Planning Manager, you will plan and control all schedulingactivities supporting assigned product categories for this location. Balanceproduction and inventory levels with demand to support organizationallydefined customer service objectives. Maintain standardized master planningpractices utilizing SAP APO (Advanced Planning and Optimization), EPQ(Economic Production Quantity), and other Nestle-Purina required toolsand methodologies as applicable. Be responsible for the factory organizationin applying the appropriate tools and eliminating the use of off-linespreadsheets and processes for scheduling. Communicates with the IngredientReceiving Scheduler to ensure that ingredients are available to support theschedule and insure the uninterrupted operation of the Plant.Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain standard processes for supporting and adhering to theMaster Production Scheduling including entering in ERP System.Responsible for monitoring and sequencing the performance of promotionalnotifications including timeliness, accuracy and completeness.Manage the coordination and tracking of directives from Operations Planningincluding promotional activities, coupons, etc.Conduct supply network planning of centrally manufactured product utilizingthe SAP module in accordance with company objectives and metrics.Participate in monthly Maintenance planning meetings to schedule downtime toperform plant planned maintenance, Capital Projects, and fog/heattreatments while still maintaining customer service levels.Responsible for supporting and adhering to the Master Production Schedule(MPS) while creating a feasible Detailed Production Schedule (DPS).Perform all other duties as assigned.Basic QualificationsEducation:Bachelor's DegreeExperience:5+ years' in supply chain planning, logistics planning, or capacityplanning in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or militaryenvironment using MRP systems. SAP and PowerBI experience preferred.
