Brief Team and Position Summary
DNV GL – Energy’s Sustainable Energy Use – PDI group is seeking an Energy Efficiency Project Manager to join our Pilots team, to manage the day-to-day operations of a program directed at providing energy efficiency products to small business customers and to assist with our Training Centers education/training of customers, contractors, and trade allies. This position is based out of our Okemos, MI office.
Tasks May Include
+ Program management, working closely with utility client personnel to monitor program/project results including energy savings, quality assurance
+ Manage performance of subcontractors
+ Review and process invoices
+ Facilitate analysis of energy efficiency products
+ Build strategies for achieving program goals and increasing energy efficiency among small business customers
+ Develop recommendations to improve the program as needed
+ Budget management and tracking of performance against goals
+ Coordinate, schedule and assist in managing live events
+ Deliver presentations/trainings to a variety of stakeholders including utility clients, customers, community organizations, trade allies on energy efficient technologies and program incentives
+ Preparation of written reports
+ Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required
+ Project Management experience required
+ Energy Efficiency knowledge plus
+ CEM Certification is plus
+ Knowledge of facility mechanical equipment or electrical mechanical equipment a plus
+ Excellent technical writing and communication skills for customer communication
+ Experience delivering presentations or other public forums
+ Solid problem-solving capabilities
+ Budget and data management experience
+ Proficient computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
+ Must be able to prioritize and work both independently and as part of a team
+ Proactively seeks to identify real customer needs and manages customer expectations accordingly
+ Ability to travel, up to 10% of the time (Potential range is entire Lower Peninsula of Michigan).
+ Physical Requirements – position will require onsite inspections and touring of the customer’s locations.
+ We conduct pre-employment drug and background screening
