Come join the team! **We are currently seeking a Senior Tech Manager (Smart TV/Platform) to join our dynamic team in Englewood Cliffs, NJ as part of the Home Entertainment Innovation Team!** Position Summary: LG Sr. Manager, Ad Platform Tech will contribute to LG’s growing Smart TV advertising business with the goal of developing industry-leading ad technologies that deliver effective consumer messaging to millions of Smart TVs. This role will help evolve LG’s Smart TV display and video advertising product by influencing the strategy roadmap, helping to establish and streamline processes, as well as managing internal and external stakeholders with the goal of improving advertising capabilities, targeting and measurement. The candidate will be tasked with overseeing data and technology partnerships, charged with promoting LG's interests to maximize revenue. The candidate will also be responsible to support LG’s content partner ecosystem to generate ad inventory opportunities for LG. The ideal candidate will have technical experience in all forms of how TV (Broadcast, OTT) is delivered and monetized to consumers, specializing in current and future advertising technical relationships. The candidate must be a self-starter, strong communicator and have experience working with technical and business leaders within an organization. Working experience with DMPs, SSPs, DSPs and data on-boarders. + Smart TV advertising is a new business which is constantly changing. All activity will be understanding the current trends and meeting future needs of advertisers and marketers to utilize the Smart TV ad business. + This role will have influence on developing future strategy and key business decisions. + This role will significantly speed up the development of LG's ad tech stack especially around 3rd party integration which needs a communication bridge between business development, tech resources and schedules, and firmware update processes. + Largely domestic responsibility with options to lead by example for other markets (e.g. Canada). + Impact from this position is around optimal timelines to launch, prioritized resources, technical problem solving, ability to complete 3rd party negotiations and contributes to future partnerships in consideration. + This role prioritizes based on yearly revenue goals and future strategic direction to assure ad platform. Job Requirements: + Bachelor Degree is required + Minimum of 10 years experience with significant direct experience related to the role + OTT Tools & Technology Certifications + Significant prior experiences with ad tech companies including not limited to Google, Liveramp, Nielsen, Tradedesk, etc… History of organization and process development, some background in contributing to business development and strategy. Familiarity with ad agency process for buying OTT media. + Knowledge is applied with constant communication and feedback. Always knows the latest roadmaps and where blockages happen, how to solve for slow action. + Regular (weekly ) Meets in NYC, domestic US. Conference calls 1-2 x per week with Korea support teams. Daily emails.
