We are seeking a dynamic language acquisition specialist with successful American Reading Company school- and district-level coaching experience to lead the growth of ARC Executive Coaches regarding their support of Multilingual Learners in districts and schools using ARC solutions and services. Responsibilities: + Collaborate with ARC Multilingual Leadership Team members, and Regional Vice Presidents of Academic Design to develop and deliver MLL focused training to Teaching and Learning staff + Coordinate and develop internal training based on research from the field of MLL education + Assist regional teams in analysis of MLL related data to position ARC Core Regional Projects of Study for MLL results + Work with Teaching and Learning Pillar Leads and MLT Leadership Team Members to ensure an equitable MLL lens is applied to work processes and content development + Serve as an ARC Bilingual Executive Coach to ensure effective focus on and implementation of ARC solutions + Facilitate workshops, demonstration lessons, one-on-one coaching sessions, PLCs, and leadership meetings to support implementations in English and Spanish + Design school and district implementations of ARC solutions and services with an MLL equitable lens + Lead strategic sales support for regional sales teams with an equitable education for MLLs lens + Facilitate regional application of national learning + Model ARC culture and expertise through the ARC 5 Touchstones for Excellence and Equity + Bring field-based innovations to scale for MLL results + Collaborate with ARC Coaches, Program Team, and Sales Communities to ensure that project design, materials, content, methods, and service meet the highest standards to provide the best results Requirements: + Extensive knowledge of theoretical frameworks of second language acquisition and simultaneous bilingualism + Bilingual proficiency (English and a partner home language) required; Spanish preferred + Successful personal experience in American Reading Company literacy and leadership coaching + ESOL and Bilingual Extension Certified + 5+ years of experience working with MLLs within Bilingual and/or ESL Programs with proven results + 5+ years of experience as a building leader and/or district administrator + Extensive knowledge of national/state policies regarding MLL education where Regional Projects of Study are located + Extensive knowledge of state ELL assessments, entry/exit criteria for ELL Programs where Regional Projects of Study are located + Demonstrated leadership ability + Commitment to continuous improvement of self, team members, and partners + Flexibility and ability to adjust priorities when necessary + Ability to problem solve and innovate + Excellent written and oral communication skills + Ability to travel Why You?ll Want to Join Our Team: + The opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way, in a rapidly growing, socially responsible company. + A competitive salary and benefits such as 20 days PTO plus holidays, 401K, and employer contribution to the cost of health insurance. + Additional benefit options available, such as a College Savings Plan, Short & Long-Term Disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a children?s home library collection. + We?re an equal opportunity employer who greatly values our strength through diversity. + We are a dog and family friendly environment. + We are dedicated to our mission of every student in America reading on or above grade level. + We are committed to business as a vehicle for social justice.
