This opportunity as a Maintenance Trade Helper is perfect for an individual who is passionate about growing in the low voltage industry. This individual works under the supervision of the Project Manager or Site Lead as a trainee on installations, testing, and maintenance of various systems at both Fort Hunter Liggett and Camp Parks.
+ Cleaning of Solar Panels (some of which will be done on a lift)
+ Maintenance of grounds around solar panels
+ Inspection and Maintenance of Overhead Doors
+ Assist with installation, repair and testing of Fire Alarm/MNS systems
+ Assist with installation, repair and testing of CCTV Cameras
+ Assist with Testing/Inspection of Exit Lights
+ Assist with Testing/Inspection of Fire Extinguishers
+ Serve as the face of EFS to our customers onsite by providing top-notch service and product training
+ Ensure safety through compliance with relevant State and Federal regulations
+ Handle service order and project administration
+ Valid CPR/First Aid card
+ Valid Electrician certificate or trainee card
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ IT or an electrical background. Basic electrical wiring experience.
+ Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
+ Good communication skills to interface with customers
+ Able to call and schedule appointments, follow instructions and code requirements
+ Perform follow-up to ensure the client is ready for inspection
+ Attention to detail
+ Ability to work autonomously
+ Ability to work well with others and come to work with a positive attitude
+ Ability to obtain Secret Level or higher security clearance
+ Must have a valid driver?s license and proof of minimum liability insurance
+ Must be able to pass a pre-employment and continuing random background, drug and MVR screenings
Great to Have
+ 1-2 years of verifiable related work experience
+ Current Secret Level or higher security clearance
+ Prior experience working on government contracts or military bases
+ OSHA 30 certificate
