DNV GL – Energy North America – Program Development and Implementation group is seeking a Technical Specialist to join our Montana team. This position is based out of our Helena, MT office. Tasks May Include + Role is a 4-day week working 10 hour days, including overnight travel + Evaluating residential homes as part of residential energy-efficiency audits + Evaluating commercial buildings as part of commercial energy-efficiency audits + Calculating energy savings and other project parameters + Conducting field data collection and entering data into field tablet application + Documenting participant communication + Developing customer reports and report recommendations + Performing inspections + Performing energy audits and direct install of energy-efficient technologies Requirements + High school diploma, or equivalent, required + Building Performance Institute (BPI) Building Analyst certification preferred + At least 1 year of route/direct sales experience required + Knowledge of or experience in energy efficiency technologies + Ability to use databases effectively and accurately + Experience calculating energy savings + Excellent attention to detail + Proficient using Microsoft Business Suite of programs + Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% of the time + Position requires overnight travel in a company vehicle + Role is a 4-day week working 10 hour days + Willing and able to lift 40 pounds + Strong written and verbal English communication skills + We conduct pre-employment drug and background screening DNV GL is a global quality assurance and risk management company.
