Job Description

The primary role of the Sr. Finance & Performance Analyst is to provide our financial counterparties and internal management team with analysis and reporting to support their investment management and decision making. This role will support the financial operations team in its service of the asset portfolio (ppa/leases and loan) and service business, including portfolio analysis and optimization, performance monitoring (financial & operational), transaction support, and various reporting including operational reports, management reports, budgets and financial statements. Key responsibilities include: + Monitor and report business performance, analysis, and optimization opportunities for the ppa/lease and loan portfolio + Special projects and finance transaction analysis and support + Ensure on-time reporting to all counterparties including banks and customers + Monitor compliance with underlying agreements + Support drive data-driven decision-making across the organization + Work with Finance, Accounting, Operations and executive teams to support financing relationships + Assist in monthly / quarterly close and reporting process + Perform other duties as assigned General Knowledge and Skills: + A bachelor?s degree - finance, economics or accounting is preferred + 4+ years of experience in an analyst role. Accounting, Corporate Finance, or Capital Markets, roles preferred. Industry experience in ppa/leases and/or loan preferred. + Strong written and oral communications + Comfortable working hard in a fast paced environment + Business performance analysis and data analytics experience; variance analysis of financial results, budgets and operations; KPIs for loan and servicing business + Review of periodic financial statements + Experience supporting corporate finance transactions + Ability to independently manage multiple tasks and also lead improvement projects / initiatives + Familiarity reading contracts & agreements + Experience in distributed energy, solar, and/or retail power preferred Technical Skills: + Advanced working skill set with MS Office (specifically Excel and PowerPoint) and other automated reporting tools + Advanced experience with SQL, Data Warehouses, advanced excel formulas, and other automated reporting + Working knowledge of US GAAP and financial statement presentations + Financial modeling experience, preferred Education: Bachelor degree required Benefits: Energy Service Experts offers competitive benefits and a collaborative, purpose-driven, high-energy culture.
