Successful applicants will have several years of expertise supporting Epicor Eclipse, in both Solar and ETerm interfaces, as well as experience with advanced features of ETerm such as reporting and mass loads. Eclipse development or programming experience is a major plus.

The ERP Database and Support Specialist will provide frontline, companywide support of Epicor Eclipse (Solar and ETerm) ERP software via phone, instant messaging, email, and in person. This position supports all aspects of the ERP including user setup, security, transactional support and procedural guidance in all modules, problem solving, internal bug reports, and interfacing with the Epicor Support department for reporting and resolution of issues.
Additionally, this position will have special focus on reporting and data services such as writing custom reports and perform mass uploads, using Eclipse tools.
Tertiary responsibility of the position is assistance with network support, including PC and printer support, and other general T help desk activities.
Essential Functions
+ Provide technical, operational, and procedural support for all user issues on Epicor Eclipse (Solar and ETerm)
+ Act as an internal consultant for Eclipse security, user setup, permissions, triggers, etc.
+ Create custom reports on the Eclipse ERP systems as requested.
+ Add custom report to menus in Eterm and Solar.
+ Perform data manipulations using Eclipse mass upload capabilities.
+ Participate in planning for upgrades and customizations of Eclipse.
+ Recommend best practices for each department working within the Eclipse system.
+ Assist with technical aspects of the Linux/Universe platform for Eclipse.
+ Provide technical assistance and support for employee questions and issues related to IT
+ May configure, test, troubleshoot PCs, printers, VoIP phones and applications
+ May assist with management and support of other office equipment including copiers, printers, fax machines, RF scanners, wired scanners, credit card swipers, and signature pads
+ Other duties as assigned by managers
Requirements
Qualifications
Experience supporting Epicor Eclipse (Solar and ETerm) ERP system.
Experience supporting multi-location wholesale distribution company employees using an Epicor Eclipse.
Familiarity with Universe or other multi-value systems is a plus.
Experience writing custom reports, creating fields, and knowledge of Eclipse files and fields is preferred.
Experience using TCL is preferred.
Knowledge of Basic programming a plus.
Experience with multi-location networks.
Understanding of mobile devices and connectivity.
Proficient in Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical users.
Experience troubleshooting hardware and software. Strong problem-solving ability.
Must be available to work overtime as required.
Available to travel up to 25% of the time.
Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation.
Experience and Education
Minimum of 3 years of IT Support experience in a business environment running and supporting Epicor Eclipse or multi-department experience using Eclipse over a 3-year period.
Ability to learn quickly
Desired – Associates or bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Must work well in close teams, in a shared space.
Regularly required to sit for 6-8 hours per day. Some walking and standing required.
Must be able to communicate via phone and in person.
Must be able to efficiently enter information into computer by typing and using mouse.
Must be able to reach, grasp, lift 35 pounds overhead.
Occasionally required to bend, squat, climb, reach above shoulder, kneel, crawl, access small spaces under desks or behind cabinets.
May occasionally be required to climb a ladder as high as 8 feet.
Work performed is primarily inside a climate controlled office setting but may occasionally be in an unairconditioned warehouse environment.
The noise level in the work environment is normally moderate to low.

+ Assist Senior Services & Materials Procurement Manager with the development of contracting strategies and processes for tendering Requests for Proposals (RFPs), reviewing and leveling vendor proposals, negotiating contracts that result in the best value possible, and mentoring Services & Materials team members on varying aspects of project management, contracting strategy, and negotiation
+ Serve as a liaison between the Procurement, Development, Environmental, Energy Assessment, Engineering, Project Management, Operations, and Asset Management departments
+ Develop and manage purchasing plans and strategies relating to development, construction, and operation of the company’s wind/solar farms
+ Identify and qualify robust supplier database of national to local (state, county) contractors to support all services for new Solar projects
+ Track the global and U.S. solar markets and monitor technological advances in the industry
+ Manage vendor relationships and interface with suppliers during the RFP and negotiation processes
+ Maintain responsibility for bid evaluations, commercial and contractual negotiations, and contract approval prior to contract finalization
+ Assist Investment/M&A, Estimation, and Origination departments for potential solar project acquisitions including but not limited to market trends, estimation, commercial terms review, and requests for information
+ Assist with the creation and documentation of a competitive bid process that can be used at all levels of the organization
+ Assist with the contract award process and presentation of award recommendations to management
+ Maintain training and development of direct report in all aspects of Solar Procurement, including but not limited to: negotiation, RFP and contract management, executive summary and presentations, etc.
+ Assist with the development of standardized processes and templates for all solar contracting efforts
+ Manage documentation, contracts, budgets, schedules, engineering and construction interfaces, project controls, project correspondence, and project reporting

+ Proficient knowledge of full suite of Microsoft Office software; high proficiency in Excel and Power Point required
