My client is a global leading power producer and provider specialized in the solar industry and a manufacturer of crystalline silicon photovoltaic cells, roof tiles and solar panels. With circa 6,000 employees across all the continents, they are rapidly expanding into new locations and they have detected Saudi Arabia a new country to invest in. 
 
Position Overview:
My client is looking for a highly competent individual to bring on as Sales Director in Saudi Arabia. This candidate must have experience in solar PV sales and have a proven track record in generating new business and coordinating sales efforts. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified individual to take a front line position within a rapidly growing and successful organisation.
 
Responsibilities:
•Drive, structure, negotiate and close channel/strategic partnerships that scale client’s commercial resources and expand the lead and opportunity funnels. Take deals from concept to term sheet stage, then from term sheet to executed contract.
•Build major accounts for Commercial Rooftop (CRT), Residential, and Power Plant segments in the Saudi Arabia PV market, and manage revenue producing process, customer relationship based on in-depth analysis of Saudi Arabia PV policy, market economics, competitive product landscape, and service delivery.
•Implement sales strategy, including creating and maintaining sales and market agreements, developing pricings, monitoring sales performance, and achieve quarterly and yearly sales quotas.
•Drive implementation of robust sales forecasting throughout detailed customers’ projections.
•Work closely with the Product Management/Engineering and Marketing Departments to manage product and service launch process into the market including launch timeline, development roadmaps, product and service volume forecasts, product and service penetration strategy and metrics.
•Manage high-level of sales issues, and leverage company’s advantages of pre-selling service to increase sales to the end customer.
•Initiate and manage sales planning process including finance as part of long term planning, interfacing with sales operations on near term tactical issues.
•Manage expense budgets.
•Propose and negotiate alliances with high potential companies/groups that strengthen sales revenue. 
 
Education:
BSc in Business Management or Sales and Marketing is preferred
Engineering degrees will be consider if proven track record in sales. 
 
Core Requirements:
Must have 4-5 years experience in Solar PV sales
Must have circa 10 years of experience in sales or BD
Must have strong negotiation skills
Willing to travel frequently
Be able to develop rapports and build relationships as you will be acting as a brand ambassador
Will be a target driven individual
Must be innovative and a problem-solver
Must be proactive and have a business conscience to detect opportunities.
Must speak English and Arabic
