We are currently seeking an experienced and professional Key Account Sales person to join our growing North American team.  The Key Account Sales person will drive our sales and marketing activities for our distribution partners, direct module sales and other key customer relationships. 


Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and marketing programs across all our key accounts (for selected region) by influencing partners and communicating our product value.
  • Manage and close inside and outside module sales leads.
  • Track sales volumes and profitability of each key account, develop regular reports.
  • Develop training programs for partners to promote our products effectively.
  • Schedule, coordinate and attend meetings, appointments and teleconferences in support of our key accounts.
  • Develop marketing and other sales programs with key accounts.
  • Acts as primary company contact to the customer and to internal team members for the account.
  • Other duties as defined.

 

Requirements

Education and experience required

  • BA or BS degree; MBA preferred
  • 5+ years experience in channel sales
  • Solar PV experience is a must as is a passion about PV technologies.
  • Technical expertise/aptitude strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record in negotiating and winning complex contracts/projects (especially in the Solar PV industry).
  • Must be available to travel up to 50% in assigned territory.

Qualifications

  • MUST have previous SOLAR SALES experience.
  • Entrepreneurial and ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to perform responsibilities in past positions
  • Professional interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization, as well as outside customers and vendors
  • Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong ability to prioritize
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office suite
