We are seeking an experienced and professional Project Development Sales person to join our growing North American team.  The Project Sales person will drive our project development sales throughout their assigned region of the US.

 Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop sales strategies and targets to achieve revenue and profitability goals
  • Identify projects in commercial, government and utility segments for projects 500 kW and greater
  • Lead, manage and create proposal documents and request for information; lead cross functional internal team of project managers and technical leads to provide input required
  • Negotiate contracts and financial agreements with customers
  • Understand and analyze economic models for PV system designs and use this information to develop the best solution for the customer
  • Deep understanding of utility and other solar incentives in the region of focus as well as other relevant solar grant and subsidy opportunities
  • Ability to present solar project proposals and financials to a sophisticated customer base and clearly communicate value proposition
  • Other duties as defined



 

Requirements

Education and experience required

  • BA or BS degree
  • 5+ years experience in Solar PV Project sales or comparable renewable industr
  • Excellent knowledge of renewable energy and solar project development

Qualifications

  • MUST have proven Solar Project Sales experience.
  • Entrepreneurial and ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated success in closing projects which are greater than > 500 kW Professional interpersonal skills
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization, as well as outside customers and vendors
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong ability to prioritiz
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office suite
