Under the administrative supervision of the Career Pathways Educational Technology Director, the Instructional Designer works with faculty and staff from partnering community colleges to plan, develop, and incorporate online and hybrid curriculum into green career training and education programs. The Coordinator will assist with planning, development, and implementation of a variety of learning content in the Illinois Green Economy Network (IGEN) version a web-based course delivery environment through the US Department of Energy National Training and Education Resource (NTER) course management system. NTER operates as an open source cloud computing application. This is a full time position based on funding from the College of Lake County's U.S. Department of Labor Trade Adjustment Act Community College and Career Training Grant (TAACCCT).
