My client is a manufacturer and distributor of high quality PV cells, modules and systems. They are an established brand with a global presence and are regarded highly within the PV industry due to the high quality of their products and level of service. They are now looking to expand on the success they have had to date in the German market and are looking to bring on board an accomplished sales manager, selling and marketing their PV modules in the Munich area. A successful candidate will have an extensive network of contacts in the market that they will be able to carry over with them.
 
Position Overview:
My client is looking for a highly competent individual to bring on as sales manager in Germany. This candidate must have experience in solar PV sales and have a proven track record in generating new business and coordinating sales efforts. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified individual to take a front line position within a rapidly growing and successful organisation.
 
Responsibilities:
Define sales and marketing strategies according to the allocated market
Liaise with the marketing department at their HQ to propose and organize local marketing events
Liaise with the technical department so as to be able to provide the best quality of advice and support to customers
Establish and grow key relationships with new and existing customers
Source new clients to generate new streams of revenue
Provide after-sales support to customers, resolve complaints and resolve sensitive situations
 
Education:
MSc or BSc in Business Management or Sales and Marketing is desirable
 
Core Requirements:
Must have 2-3 years experience in Solar PV sales
Must be fluent in German and English
Must have strong negotiation skills
Be able to develop rapports and build relationships as you will be acting as a brand ambassador
Will be a target driven individual
Must be innovative and a problem-solver
