CSG seeks a Consulting Contracts Manager Attorney to join its growing organization. This highly visible position interacts significantly with our business development team, but will also provide support throughout the company, reporting to the CFO.

Please note this position is not a general counsel position; rather it is a hands-on contracts and legal position where the ideal candidate wants to use their legal training in an entrepreneurial business environment and contribute to the growth and success of the business.

  • Manages review of contract terms and conditions, obligations and revisions and coordinates interactions with customers and program managers to include pre-contract discussions, contract negotiations and contract changes.
  • Maintains and manages the contract management information system
  • Performs RFP/RFQ analysis, reviews of terms and conditions, assist or lead contract negotiations as appropriate.
  • Administers contracting activities, serves as customer interface and ensures compliance with all applicable policies and procedures.
  • Reviews, analyzes and interprets contract requirements to determine contractual obligations, consistency and content and ensure completion and provides continual review and administration to ensure that all terms and conditions are met and that any problems are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Advises management and keep informed of contract issues which may impact business growth, profitability, contract performance or the Company’s eligibility to receive future business.
  • Provide and assist with reporting of contract status and requirements and establish and maintain contract files
  • Ensure contracts are in place for all subcontractors and major vendors.
  • Work closely with senior management and outside legal counsel as needed on confidential issues


  • Law degree with several years experience in commercial (not government) contracts
  • Ability to quickly learn the business and understand and address risk issues.
  • Good communication skills to work with a team of geographically dispersed programs and managers and clients.
  • Excellent and proven writing ability.
  • Be conversant in relevant legal, regulatory and compliance issues related to contract administration and able to communicate those issues to non-legal staff.
  • Must have professional demeanor, highly organized and attention to detail and the ability to prioritize projects and exercise sound judgment.
  • Solid computer skills and database skills and familiarity with contract management systems, preferred.
  • Several years experience in contract management in a corporate setting
  • Able to manage multiple activities/tasks, contracts and clients simultaneously.



Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
